I’m of Edo State origin (Oredo Local Government Area). I hold a Bachelor Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Benin, Benin City (1988) and Master’s Degree in English from the University of Lagos (1997). I’m a practising journalist of over three decades experience, now Editor, Travel/Tourism, New Telegraph Newspaper/News Editor, Saturday Telegraph, a national daily newspaper published by Daily Telegraph Publishing Company, with head office in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

I was a Senior Correspondent with The Guardian Newspaper, Lagos where I worked for about 20 years (1993-2013). I have in the course of journalism practice besides other areas, covered extensively the Travel and Tourism Industry, with widespread travels across the country and outside the country exploring destinations, attending events such as travel trade exhibitions, workshops and seminars, as interviews with different players in the public and private sectors.
I have also contributed immensely on developing tourism development and growth in the country as I’m actively engaged with deepening relationship between the private and public sector of the industry, working through the Association of Nigerian Journalists and Writers of Tourism (ANJET), which is a member of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN).
